Task 6: e-Service Middleware Analysis

Activity: development

Description: The task is to formulate the initial requirements for middleware software to support the execution and management of all middleware-compliant e-services. This relies on the findings from three previous tasks - development of G2C, G2B and G2G e-services - and follows the recommendations raised at the second task-concluding workshop.

Purpose: To obtain a written statement of the requirements for e-service-supporting middleware software, written informally but precisely. The statement can be used as a basis for future development, in particular for requirements modelling as part of Task 7. It is considered unavoidable that during development the requirements obtained here will be subject to some changes, but this should happen in a deliberate and controlled way.
